Toasty Tails is a 2-night, 3-day camping convention for furs in and around the northern Louisiana area.
For this event, we will be renting out 20 cabins and a main hall with kitchen at Bistineau State Park. With 160 spots available, there will be opportunities to make friends, socialize and have fun. Social events include but are not limited to: arts & crafts, campfire time, board games, cornhole, hiking, scavenger hunts, etc.

Cabins are communal, you will need to bring a tent and camp outside if you want privacy
There are no outlets in the cabins, however we will have a phone charging station that everyone may use in the main hall
No RVs, large vehicles, campers, mobile homes, motor homes, camper trailers
Bring your own food. Food may be kept in the communal kitchen, please label your food with your name and sona name.
There is very limited parking available, we highly encourage people to carpool.
Bring your own bedding, toiletries, clothing, etc.
There is a $3 entry fee to the park per person
Each cabin has 4 bunk beds with twin mattresses
There are several outdoor grills, as well as a designated campfire spot
Cabins and main hall have climate controls

Detailed Information:
This is going to be a 3 day 2 night mini-convention at the group camp at Lake Bistineau. There are 20 cabins, a bathhouse, a kitchen/dining hall, and a firepit. Tickets will be 40 dollars a person and cover the entire event. The Dates September 18, 2026 to September 20, 2026
Key Info if you do not read anything else, read this:
You will need to bring your own supplies. Each person who purchased a ticket gets a mattress in the cabins, but you will need blankets, pillows or a sleeping bag, toiletries and bathing supplies.
This is a "SFW 18+" event. This means that you must be 18 or older to attend the event with no exceptions. ALCOHOL AND DRUGS (THAT ARE NOT OVER THE COUNTER OR PRESCRIPTION) ARE NOT PERMITTED. Sorry all, but we want to make sure everyone can have a safe fun time.
Food is currently not planned to be provided. The state park is about 15 mins away from restaurants and food markets but be aware that you will have to pay the 3-dollar entry fee to the park when you re-enter. There is a firepit and you can bring in food but pack out any trash and be safe when using the firepit.
Details:
There are several hiking trails, a frisbee golf course around the area that you can use, and we plan on bringing several forms of entertainment including board games, corn hole, and crafts.
You are not required to stay the whole event; you may come for only a few hours, stay the entire time, or come and go as you please, but the tickets will be the same price for all. Every person must pay for a ticket
Sleeping arrangements will be determined closer to the event based on ticket sales. The current plan is to make an excel sheet where you may pick and choose which cabin you would like to stay in and who you would like to bunk with. You may be allowed to bring your own tent if you prefer.
The hosts will be bunking in the room behind the kitchen, if there’s any issues, please let us know. There will also be admins, which will be identified by their official Admin Button pinned to their shirts. You may also reach out to an admin if there’s any issues.

RULES
Attendees must be over the age of 18 to attend
No drugs, alcohol or illegal substances permitted
Every attendee must purchase a ticket
No RVs, large vehicles, campers, mobile homes, motor homes, camper trailers (please DM an admin on telegram if you have a question regarding this rule)
This is a safe for work meet, all attendees must maintain a pg-13 level of clothing, verbal and physical activities when in public view
For everyone’s safety, please do not bring pets, service animals are welcome
Vapes and cigarettes must be smoked away from the cabins, so not to disturb other attendees. Please be mindful, some people may have allergic reactions or sensitivities
Harassment and assault of any form is not tolerated and will result in being banned from future events. If you see something or experience something, please let an admin know so we can investigate the situation
Firearms, fireworks, and firecrackers are not permitted
Quiet time begins at 11pm and ends at 8am. Attendees are not required to stay in the cabins at this time, but please be mindful of others who may want to go to sleep in the cabins. The kitchen, bathhouse, outdoor area, and main hall will continue to be open access throughout the night
Please pickup after yourself and respect the campsite. Our hosts work hard to put this event together and make sure the campsite is clean and tidy after the event, not picking up after yourself makes our job harder :(
Please leave any disagreements or drama at home. This meet is supposed to be fun for all members; any disruptions or violence will result in you being asked to leave
Do not cut down any trees or vegetation, likewise, leave any wildlife alone
Playgrounds are for children only, please do not climb on them
All attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless Furries At Bistineau and admins from any claim for personal injuries or other damages or equity arising out of any individual’s activities at Toasty Tails, even if such injury or damage is caused by negligence by or on the part of Furries At Bistineau, admins, or Toasty Tails.

Beat the Heat, Summer Swim Meet!
The summer heat is starting to swing, so in an effort to beat the heat, we are hosting a swimming meet!
Date: August 1st
Time: 11am
Location: 135 Cypress Park Dr., Benton, LA 71006
We will be going to cypress black bayou recreation area to cool off from this summertime heat!
We will not be renting out a pavilion, this will be a more relaxed approach to the regular meets.
There is a small zoo at cypress that is free after paying the $5 entry fee to the park.
People are free to come and go as they please and do not have to participate in the meal. Sunscreen and water toys will be provided.
